

Our family was shocked and deeply saddened by Josie’s passing on February 20, 2025. After she survived ovarian cancer, we were planning a trip the Hawaiian Islands, then Philippines, and other Asian countries in July 2025.
Josie Deocampo Manangan, 61 years old of Jacksonville, FL passed away on February 20, 2025 at Mayo Clinic surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines on March 19, 1963. She graduated from Central Philippine University in Iloilo City, Philippines with a degree in accounting. She married Johny Manangan on March 19, 1994. She was a choir leader and finance chairman with the Iglesia ni Cristo church in East Jacksonville, FL. She loved traveling, visiting her family, and watching Korean drama. She worked at Arlington Toyota in Jacksonville, FL for more than 25 years and loved by the owners, bosses, and co-workers.
Josie will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of more than 30 years, Johny Manangan, three brothers Anje Deocampo of Port St Lucie, FL; Joseph Deocampo of Manama, Bahrain; Jelito Deocampo of Chesapeake, VA and two sisters MaryJean Deocampo Hechanova of Kauai, HI; and Maryann Deocampo Dantzler of Jacksonville, FL. She has 15 wonderful nieces and nephews and a loving adopted daughter, Ana-Cleta Deocampo. She is preceded in death by her parents Jesusa and Anacleto Deocampo and brother Jess Deocampo.
A visitation for Josie will be held Monday, March 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A second visitation will occur Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. Interment will follow on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
