Judith ‘Judy’ Daigle passed away peacefully on February 8, 2021 in Jacksonville, FL, surrounded by her family.

Judy was born on June 20, 1942 in New Haven, CT to Phyllis and Doc Ferrucci. She grew up in nearby West Haven where she made her home until moving to the warmer climate of Florida in 1991. Wherever she was, Judy was friend and ‘Mom' to so many. Her house was always a welcoming refuge full of people, laughter and love. She tirelessly took care of family, friends, neighbors, animals -anything or anyone who needed help, a hot meal or a safe, warm bed. She never missed a birthday, anniversary or celebration; family was everything to Judy and if she knew you, you were family.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Al, siblings Tony Ferrucci (Peggy) of North Haven, CT and Pat Zoccoli (Michael) of Hamburg, NJ and her children; Cheryl Bott of Orlando, FL, Marc Bott (Lauren) of Branford, CT, Mike Daigle (Stacey) of Orlando, FL, Bert Daigle (Laura) of West Haven, CT, Eric Daigle (Lisa) of Ft. Myers, FL and Scott Daigle of Cape Coral, FL. She was loved and will be missed by her grandchildren Scarlet, Ian, Lindsay, James, Sarah, Jeremy, Logan, Taelor, Matt, Paul & Angelina and many nieces, nephews and God-children.

The family would like to thank the staff at Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville and the nurses of Heartland Hospice for their exceptional care of Judy and the entire family.

At Judy's request, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later, safer date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local Hospice center.

Judy was a sweetheart! Remember a gathering at her house when "stinky beer" was all the rage. Too funny! And the time the four of us went down to Daytona Beach. Rest in peace.....
