Justin served courageously in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, including two tours in Vietnam. Justin was also a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service, and the PGA Tour. He was a faithful and respected member of the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Justin enjoyed reading, spending time with his wife, Pat, and he made many wonderful memories as a road scholar. No matter what he did or where he served, he was well loved and respected. People always described Justin as an incredibly kind and gentle man. He had a quick-witted sense of humor and a gentle spirit that put everyone at ease. He had a smile that lit up his entire face and his joyful, positive spirit was contagious. It’s been said that the light that shines the farthest, shines the brightest at home. Justin Tohal was a light that touched many, but those closest to him have been the most impacted and are forever changed by his love, laughter, and his life that radiated such a gentle grace.
