

Kalamans Zarafili Kandah, of Jacksonville, Florida, went home to be with her creator January 5, 2024. She passed unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family. Kalamans was born in Yaffa, Palestine on January 1, 1941.
She and her late husband, Said Kandah moved the entire family to The United States in 1979. She left her family and friends behind in Amman, Jordan so her husband can be close to his family.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was like an Angel on earth that touched the hearts of all that knew her. Above all, she loved her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews, as well as her friends and neighbors.
Kalamans is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Said Ghannam Kandah

Her parents, Julia and Yacoub Zarafili, Her siblings; Jeries, Issa and Espeer Zarafili, Elise Qreitem, and Salma Khnouf.
She leaves behind her sister Layla Khoury
Her children; Ghannam (John) Kandah, Rima Maron, her spouse Najib, Rula Castro, her spouse Darrell and Ramiz Kandah
Her 7 grandchildren; Juliette Maron, Said (Jordan) Kandah, Brittany Kandah, Michael Maron, Alexis Castro, Darrell Castro Jr, and Glenn
A visitation for Kalamans will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. George Antiochian Church, 6300 Bowden Road, Jacksonville, FL 32216. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6300 Bowden Road, Jacksonville, FL 32216. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
