My Mother in law Karen had many sides to her. She had a great sense of humor and always made me laugh.

Never a dull moment at her house visiting for many holidays. Karen liked to joke around a lot endearing her infectouus  smile.

I'm sorry for this great loss of a loved one.

My extended sorrow to all her family members but most of all  the Moles Family, the Mills family and the Fitzpatrick family. Truly she is missed. 

I'm sure things are different without your beloved Mimi.

Karen was the VERY best friend I have ever had in my life next to my only sister, Linda.  I'm sure they are laughing and talking up in heaven now.  They knew of one another but never met until heaven.  Karen was one of the most loving and unselfish women I have ever met. She was so full of life. Once, she called me and told me that "Sonny Crocket" our hero from Miami Vice was down at the Landing in Jax and she was on the way to come get me to go with her to see him in person. I showered, got dressed, full makeup, fixed my hair. She showed up at my door and informed me that it was just a joke. I can never forget how she laughed and laughed so outrageously. She had really pulled one over on me and had the laugh of her life doing so. I MISS HER EVERY DAY. Her family is all so special to me to. I love each and every one of them and keep them in my prayers. Moles family if you ever have a reunion to celebrate your wife and Mom, please call me because you all were family to me when I had no one else here in Jax, I could call family, like you guys were all to me. Once Matt and his friend spent the night as my protectors when I went through a very bad divorce years ago.  The two young boys had SURF BOARDS on top of my car. The next day was Sunday and the two precious ones went to church with me.  WHAT A FAMILY!!! You are ALL forever in my heart as KAREN is too.  She taught me Peritoneal Dialysis so I could be cross-trained and helped me initially and backed me up when I worked as the Peds Dialysis Nurse for Shands, Jax.  Once we even picked up a Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler Machine and it was such a high crime area that JSO had to accompany us.  As we came out of the child's house with the machine to take to Shands for her usage while hospitalized, many people stood on the corner to check out what was going on at that time.  Karen  stood out with her beautiful Platinum Blonde hair. We made it back to Shands with the cycler for this precious little girl.  A true friend, Karen 

I will NEVER forget how Karen came to my rescue once more as she always did when she helped me move out of my apartment "Beverly Hillbillies" Style carrying a couch down the stairs of my apartment on our heads. We then placed it on my car and drove to her house. She then had her Sweet, sweet daughter Jamie to HIDE me from my husband who was threatening my life. Had it not been for these two precious ladies I would not be here today enjoying life with my husband of almost 32 years and our son, Tyler. 

Karen was the best and dearest, kindest woman I have EVER met in my life. Losing her was such a loss to not only her family but to me as I felt I was one of her family members. We always  called each other and said, "The Chick, Uh, Uh, Uh," and we knew who was on the other end of the line. 
I have watched my dear sweet friend grow in the Lord so much over the years since I met her in late 1982. She blossomed into such a beautiful woman of God and of His precious Word. 

There are days I think, I need to call, "The Chick," and then I remember that she is with Jesus our precious Lord and Saviour. 

MOLES FAMILY, Charlie, Jamie, Duber, Matt, Marty, Timmy and Girls I love yall more than you will ever know. When I had no real family here in Jax you all became my family. Once Karen sent Matt and his friend to spend the night with me in my new apartment that was gated( they were my body guards to help protect me in a very threatening situation). The two boys and I went to church the next day with their surfboards on the top of my car. What a hoot when I showed up at Arlington Assembly of God with Surfboards atop my car.  I love you guys and you remain in my prayers on a regular basis. In closing let me say that I can hardly wait to see my  Sweet, sweet and dearest friend this side of heaven, in heaven. I lost my sweet, godly sister and Brother-in-Law to Covid this past January and it seems that I have more in heaven than here on earth. Jesus is coming soon. We must stay ready

I will NEVER EVER forget my precious and dearest friend Karen. We first met in 1982 at University Medical Center(Shands) and have been buddies ever since. She is my favorite "Chick"! We have so many inside stories and memories that I can't list them all. My heart is broken that she left us way too soon, but she is in a healthy body loving her Saviour Jesus in that wonderful place called heaven! Can't WAIT to see her again. Ken and I are honored beyond measure to be part of her GRADUATION service! "to live is Christ; to die is GAIN"(Philippians 1:21)..Ken and Cindy Barney

My deepest condolences to your entire family. Karen was a dear friend and we shared so many great memories. Karen will be deeply missed and we have gained another angel to watch over all of us. 

When I think of Aunt Karen I will always remember her fun and joyous spirit.  She was a beautiful lady.  Our family will be praying that God's peace and comfort will sustain all of you now and in the days to come.
