Karl F. Von Esche, age 82, of Fleming Island, passed away on June 12, 2026. He was born on July 10, 1943, in Black Mountain, NC to Karl Von Esche and Gertrude M. West Von Esche. He married Caroline C. Von Esche on March 11, 2006.
He retired from the Local 199 as a Boilermaker. After his retirement, he enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Karl is survived by his wife of 20 years, Caroline Von Esche; son, Jesse Von Esche; grandson, Corey Von Esche; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Robert Kalapp; granddaughter, Annamarie Kalapp; grandson and wife, Weston and Taylor Kalapp; great-grandson, Easton Kalapp; grandson, Wyatt Kalapp; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Michelle Von Esche; grandson, Ryann Von Esche; grandson, Mitchelle Von Esche; granddaughter, Ashley Bergin; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Mike Williams; grandson, Renner Williams; grandson, Kellan Williams; grandson and wife, Christian and Staci Williams; great-granddaughter, Blake Williams; stepson, Zachary W. Baker; and granddaughter, Lilly Baker.
He was preceded in death by father, Karl Von Esche; and mother, Gertrude M. West Von Esche.
