Kate Raby Brown

Katie was born in Miami, Fl on February 13, 1941 and lived most of her life in Jacksonville, Fl. Katie was someone if you met her, you never forgot her, who had a great smile and awesome laugh. She loved God, family, Lola, Puppy, and Elvis.

She was a much loved and cherished woman whom we will all miss and remember with smiles and laughter. She also loved movies of every kind, from silent films to the old black-and-white classics, and anything Elvis.

She is survived by her sister, Deborah Dryden (John), her children, Carla Vilee Brown, Sherri Kate Brown, and Alton "Buddie" Brown (Lynn): her grandchildren, SunShine Brown, Beth Freeman (Chris), Jessica Eldridge (Pat) , and Dyani Brown. Her great grand-children, Justis, Love, Cain, Darien, Keaton, and Braylon. Her nieces and nephews, Michael (Cindy), Catherine, Tyler, and Lauren.

Visitation for the family will be held at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, on August 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, on August 8, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm
