Kay C O'Brien

She retired from Ford Motor Credit Company as a wholesale auditor. She was a devoted member of the Catholic Church. She adored her family.

She was predeceased by her mother, Bonnie Shirley Parker; father, Jack O’Brien; and sons, William B. Banks, Jr. and Michael W. Banks.

She is survived by her sisters, Carol Hazouri of Jacksonville, FL, Jackie White (Patrick) of Jacksonville, FL, Teresa Lawrence (Keith) of Merritt Island, FL; daughters, Lori C. Pendino (David) of Summerville, SC and Carol Leeann Botzenhart (Brian) of Seminole, FL; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to acknowledge her very good friends, Maripole Mendoza and Jim Gillis and the caregivers and staff of Oak Manor. We would especially like to thank the Nurses and Support Staff at HCA Florida Largo Hospital for their compassionate and loving care in her final days.

Visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, on May 18, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Funeral Service will take place at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, on May 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Committal Service will follow at Riverside Memorial Park at 11:00 am.
