Attending the Gator games in the ‘90s and ‘2000s yielded many memorable times and life-long friendships.
The football support and its social aspect shifted to house gatherings where Keith got to showcase his talent and love for cooking along with his stab at making beer. Also, in his culinary repertoire was making homemade sausage, a Christmas family tradition and smoking ribs, chicken, fish, etc to feed comrades on camping trips, at annual Memorial Day party at the Harcourt’s and dinners in his own home or driveway.
Trips to Alaska and Japan in his early years were memorable to Keith. He also enjoyed many camping trips with friends, flip-flop’n in the Florida Keys, music listening at festivals and the debauchery, adventure and camaraderie of the annual 4 Day canoe trips in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Keith’s prominent nicknames were, Uncle Keith and Keith Baby (KB) and helped to convey his loving reach. Children were blessed by his caring, adoptive heart and they blessed him as well. Many friends referred to him as Uncle Keith. His dogs, Spur, Amber and lastly Moo were just a few of the pets that he loved, which became family.
