I met Kerri several years ago. She was keeping an eye on some pugs that had been confiscated and were in the OKC shelter. She applied to foster some of them and our friendship was formed from that. She fostered many pugs for Homeward Bound over the years and later became a petsitter for me and my friend Melissa. Kerri was a huge animal advocate but also a kind and caring person on so many levels. I have many wonderful memories of our time together, especially parades that I twisted her arm to be in. Kerri was always up for a good time and had a great sense of humor. Our annual fundraiser was October 27 and her absence was felt by many. I will miss her as I know others will. She touched the lives of many. Rest in peace, sweet lady.
