Born on March 26, 1957, in Calasiao, Pangasinan, Philippines, Lanie carried with her a tenacious heart and a deep love for others from the very beginning. She built a beautiful life alongside her husband, Stephen P. Arnold, and together they raised three boys who were the pride and joy of her world. A career nurse, Lanie devoted herself to caring for others, a calling that came as naturally to her as breathing. Later in life, she pursued a long held dream of owning a restaurant, pouring her love of cooking and bringing people together into every plate she served.
Lanie lived her life fully and on her own terms, always determined to enjoy each day. She was the life of any party, quick with a smile and even quicker to grab the microphone for karaoke. She loved gardening, tending to her friends, traveling the world, and chasing new experiences wherever they led. Fiercely protective of those she loved, she was tender, giving, and endlessly charitable, always the first to extend a helping hand.
A devoted member of the Catholic Church, Lanie was active in her nursing community and cherished the social bonds she built throughout her life. Her faith guided her, and she carried the love of God in everything she did.
She is survived by her three sons, Michael James Arnold, Christopher Craig Arnold, and Edwin Matthew Arnold; her grandchildren, Addison Brooke, Rylee Shea, Cole James, and Kyrie Howl Arnold; her sisters, Flora Masiglat, Iluminada Agustin, Susana Agustin, Ofelia Spencer, and Rosario Agustin; and her brothers, Melchor, Rodolfo, Mateo, and Ricardo Agustin.
