

Larry Allen Holland, age 74, passed away on May 24, 2026, in Chappaqua, New York. He was a faithful servant of the Lord, devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and a friend to many whose life was marked by ministry, compassion, and dedication to sharing the Gospel.
Larry was a graduate of Trinity Baptist College and proudly served in the United States Navy. He faithfully pastored Grace Baptist Church in Chappaqua, New York, where he spent many years ministering to others and preaching God’s Word. Larry loved traveling with family and friends and especially treasured visiting his daughter and her family on the island of Trinidad, where they serve as missionaries. During his visits, he faithfully preached and ministered at Arouca Baptist Church, a ministry that brought him great joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melville and Evelyn Holland; his brothers, Melville Wesley Holland and Joe Gardner Holland; and his sister, Pamela Joy Moore. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Holland; his daughter, Evelyn Marie Westbrook; his son-in-law, Jimmy Ray Westbrook, Jr.; and his cherished grandchildren, Kara Westbrook and Jason Westbrook. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Colbert of Lake Mary, Florida, Deborah Rich of Helena, Alabama, and Tamara Holland of Macclenny, Florida; and his brother, David Holland of Orange Park, Florida. In addition to his family, he is survived by a wide circle of cherished friends and beloved church members whose lives were deeply touched by his ministry, kindness, and faithful example.
A viewing will be held on June 1, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 800 Hammond Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by interment at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, located on the church property.
