LeAnza Brown Chauncey, 86, of Jacksonville, FL went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2016. She was born December 10, 1929 and was a graduate of Andrew High School. She was an interior Designer and a golf enthusiast. She was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Ray Anderson Chauncey, her mother Thirza Mae Jones (Ben), her father Clarence Edward Brown and her brother Hugh Martin Brown. She is survived by her sons Steve Chauncey (Janine) and Bruce Chauncey (Lorrie), her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, October 10, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N., Jacksonville. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 1211 Lee Rd. with Pastor Don Skelly officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd.
