Leroy H. Nail, Sr., age 85, went to be with the Lord October 2, 2016. He was born in Plant City, Florida March 23, 1931. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on October 3, 1949 and was honorably discharged January 30, 1953.
Leroy served God faithfully as a pastor, evangelist, missionary, and teacher for 46 years. His passion in life was studying and teaching the Word of God, always reminding the child of God that "You Are Somebody."
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Nail; five sons Larry, Jerry, Timothy, Chris, and Kenneth; three daughters Regena Baker, Kimberley Patterson, and Tracy Minyard; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He was predeceased by his daughter, Karen Bell, and grandson, Jason Nail.
The private family viewing will begin at 10:00am, Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at River City Community Church, 6561 Firestone Road, Jacksonville, Florida. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30am with funeral service following at 11:00am.
