

Lewis was born in Blackshear, GA on April 18, 1944 to Lewis W. Adamson and Elizabeth Dixon Adamson. Most of his life he lived in Mount Vernon, GA with his parents and two sisters, Carol and Mary. He graduated from the University of George with a BBA and an MBA.
Lewis pursued a career in Business, working for almost 25 years for Piggly Wiggly in Vidalia, GA as an Office Manager, followed by almost 15 years in the Department of Revenue for the State of Florida in Jacksonville, FL.
Lewis, his wife Pamela, and his daughter Lori enjoyed traveling, camping, and being entertained by the family dogs. Lewis and Pamela were married on June 23, 1973 and daughter Lori was born on July 7, 1982.
Survived by his loving wife of 51 ½ years, Pamela Holton Adamson of Jacksonville, FL; beloved daughter, Lori A. Adamson; sister, Mary James of Vidalia, GA; and 3 nephews, all of GA.
Preceded in death by his father, Lewis W. Adamson; mother, Elizabeth Dixon Adamson; and sister, Carol Landrum.

A graveside for Lewis will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery, 5463 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd and Woodlawn Rd, Macclenny, FL 32063.
