Lewis “Mack” Franklin, 77, passed away September 4, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. He Graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and later attended the University of Georgia. Mack was a retired Police Officer serving the City of Jacksonville. He was one of the organizers of the PAL in Jacksonville. He also was member of the Avondale Methodist Church, Morocco Shriners, and a Master Mason. Preceding him in death was his son Lewis “Mike” Franklin Jr. He will be missed dearly by his loving wife of 55 years Audrey “Ginger” Franklin; daughter Audrey(Jon); sister Valerie Carlton; grandchildren Haley(Mike), Jackson (Tracey), and Abigail. A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm, Saturday September 12, 2015 at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, 729 South Edgewood Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205.
