Liberato O. Locquiao, 84, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was born to Cosme and Catalina Locquiao on December 20, 1929 in Urdaneta, Philippines. Liberato was a very strong willed, hardworking man. He earned the WWII Victory Medal as well as the Philippine Ind Ribbon while serving his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Leonila, seven sons, Rufino Locquiao, Ronaldo (Julie-predeceased) Locquiao, Renato (Grace) Locquiao, Ricardo (Susan) Locquiao, Redante (Dulce) Locquiao, Rodillo (Imelda) Locquiao, Radito (Tess) Locquiao, two daughters Leonilda (Scott) Lewis, Luz Locquiao, 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 in the chapel from 5:00-9:00pm. A mass will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 8523 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32244 on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00am with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
