

Lillian S. Campbell died on February 29th, 2016 at her home with her loving family at her side, after living a life filled with love and dedication to others. Lillian was born in Philadelphia, PA to Joseph and Viola Slater.
In 1950 she found the center of her universe, the love of her life, George Edward Campbell. Within their sixty years of marriage, they raised five children in Upper Southampton, PA, and retired to sunny Florida. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother.
Her dedication do not end with her family, she was active in the Mandarin Senior Center and the Knit Wits. She recently received an honor from the USO, in the Jacksonville area recognizing over 1,000 hours of service. She was volunteer and supporter of Wreaths Across America. With the Knit Wits she created 100’s of blankets, hats and scarfs for donation to hospice patients, and our men and women serving America in the military. She enjoyed the Jacksonville Symphony each season.
Lillian will be loved and missed by her children, Linda Alliprandini (David), Edward (Nora), Barbara, Scott (Melissa), and Keith (Heidi). A proud grandmother of 12 along with 17 great-grandchildren.
Lillian leaves us with precious memories and a legacy of honor, integrity, and devotion to her family. A service will be held Jacksonville National Cemetery. Family is requesting in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wreaths Across America or the Mandarin Senior Center, Jacksonville, Florida in honor of Lillian. HARDAGE-GIDDENS, TOWN & COUNTRY, 7242 Normandy Boulevard is serving the family.
