She had a passion for music and voice. She attended Sandalwood, FSCJ, and the University of North Florida. Michelle was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and loyal friend.
Michelle grew up going to Fort Caroline Baptist Church. As she grew up she went to other churches, but returned to Fort Caroline Baptist Church, making new friends, memories, and growing closer to God as she learned to trust Him more and more everyday.
Michelle met her husband and sweetheart, Jimmy, while serving at church and was eventually able to adopt her wonderful daughter Caris.
Michelle was preceded in death by her husband, James David Green.
She is survived by her daughter, Caris; parents, Ed and Linda Carter; brother, Chris Carter; Uncles and Aunts, Jimmy's sweet family and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She loved her family and friends dearly.
A visitation for Linda will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fort Caroline Baptist Church, 11428 McCormick Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32225, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
