Lois J. Laurinat, 85, passed away March 29, 2011. She was born July 28, 1925 in Columbus, GA. She was a graduate of Florida Junior College with honors and worked as a Hematology Assistant. A proud Navy wife, she was a volunteer for the US Naval Hospital. She was a member of Arlington Congregational Church, an avid reader and a volunteer for over 18 years to the local Jacksonville Library.
Family members include her husband of 64 years, Commander Henry Laurinat and two sons Douglas S. and Henry P. Laurinat all of Jacksonville, Florida.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Monday, April 4, 2011 at Arlington Congregational Church, 431 University Blvd. N., Jacksonville, FL 32211 with Rev. Dr. Bruce Havens officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
