Born in Atlantic City, NJ to Mccoy W. Baxter, Sr. and Dorothy Wilson, who proceeded her in death. Loretta was called home by Our Lord and Savior on May 31st in Jacksonville, Florida. Loretta was married to the love of her life, Jimmie Ford, who proceeded her in death.
Her presence will always be memorialized by her devoted granddaughter and caregiver, Tiffany Hill (Marice), her loving son Tyrone Baxter, granddaughter Tyla Baxter, 5 siblings: faithful caregiver and sister Charlie “Snookie” Weaver, brothers Mccoy “Buzz” Baxter (Collisa), the late Tracey Reed, Charles “Butchie” Craven (Felicia), Gary Baxter (Janet), sister Lynn Rogers (William “Butch”), and longtime friend, Fredde Davis. Her 5 great-grands were her pride and joy and she made sure they knew it! Loretta also leaves memories with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Her huge heart and selflessness will be missed!
