Louis Francis Klenk of Saint Johns, Florida was born January 18, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Julius Gottlieb Klenk and Adelaide Lucy Lepack Klenk. He proudly served in the US Navy and was a World War II Veteran. He retired from the United States Postal Service in 1988 after 22 years of service. One of his favorite jobs was when he worked as a streetcar motorman. He loved everyone he met and always made a point to let them know he was always willing to help should they need anything. He was lovingly known as Grandpa to all. Whenever talking to family he always concluded with "I love you, always remember that." In addition to his big heart, he never stopped reading and learning.
He passed peacefully at home on March 15, 2021 surrounded by the family who so loved him. His legacy of love knew no bounds; he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his soulmate and loving wife of 56 years, Audrey Mae Klenk, brother Herbert J. Klenk, and daughter Jacqueline Klenk Scott.
He is survived by his daughter, Vickie Lynn Knox and husband Robert Knox; grandson, Timothy Paul Scott and wife Cari Scott and great grandchildren Morgan Cloud and Dillon Cloud; granddaughter, Amber Knox Bunn and husband Damon Bunn and great granddaughter Ella Mae Vivian Bunn.
