Lowell L. Ogletree left this world on February 21, 2026. He was survived by his wife of 22 years, Rebecca Ogletree; his sons Duane (Heather), Dean and Daryl (Laura); stepdaughter, Sherri Quarles (Donny); grandsons, Connor Ogletree (Leah), Zacharie Stauffer (Blake) and Joshua Ogletree; granddaughter, Marla Ogletree; great-grandchildren, Tait, Kaidence "Kady" and Blakelee Stauffer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom he dearly loved.
Lowell served in both the Air Force and Army, where he received his GED. He was employed by the El Paso City irrigation and the Jacksonville City and Parks.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Ogletree; his mother, Essie Ogletree; and his brothers, Joe, Raymond, Bobby and Carey; and his grandson, Mason.
A visitation will be held on March 3, 2026, at 11:00 am at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, located at 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue at 12:00 pm. A committal service will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218, at 2:00 pm on March 3, 2026.
