He is predeceased by his parents, Leon D. Fowler and Bela Cooper-Fowler; and his sister, Reba King. He is survived by his brother, Billy (Debbie) Fowler; sister, Bobbie Edwards; children, Debbie (Jason) Gay and Michael Fowler; grandchildren, Dewey (Lissley) Maddox, Rachel Houston, Tyler Curry and Dominik Fowler; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Maddox and Kade Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. The funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the funeral home, followed by the burial at Riverside Memorial Park.
