Marain Jeanne Dooley, age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior March 8, 2014. Jeanne was born March 16, 1938 in Bristol, GA to parents Doc and Lavora Hodge. She was raised in the Baptist Faith and was a member of West Normandy Baptist Church. Jeanne will be dearly missed by her husband of 56 years, Lemuel Dooley; daughter Melody Rutland, granddaughter Raney Ann Thomas (Ben), brothers Wayne Hodge (Shirley), Warren Hodge (deceased), James Hodge (Dorothy), Charles Hodge (Mary), Jimmy Hodge (Margie), step-sister Valdese (deceased), aunt Gladys Nicholson, cousin Betty Devine and numerous nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank the staff at Baptist Hospital critical care unit and the wonderful nurses at Northeast Florida Community Hospice who cared so lovingly for her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Viewing will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 5 - 7 pm.
