Peg attended public schools and graduated from Robert E. Lee in 1946. She met and married William J. Kenyon Jr. in the spring of 1948. Pegs charitable giving began early with selling DAV flags in downtown Jax. Leading to speeches urging local businessmen's clubs to support building a new YWCA in which she was determined to make happen. It happened! Peg and Bill raised a family of four sons keeping her busy with scouts, home room duties and various clubs at St Matthews, St. Pauls and Bishop Kenny. The family enjoyed visiting friends and relatives as Bill was an accomplished private pilot with his own various aircraft. Later, Bill and Peg became members of the Civil Air Patrol in which they were instrumental in locating downed aircraft, always striving to give back to the community. As the family grew Peg looked for other outlets to keep her boys occupied. Numerous different sailboats was the thing. After joining the fledgling N.
