The daughter of William Marvin Phillips and Willie Haffye (Bush) Phillips, Jane grew up in a loving family whose closeness shaped her early years and remained an important part of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Doris, Wesley, and Marvin.
Throughout her life, Margaret—known affectionately as Jane—devoted herself to her husband and their four children: Judy and her husband Ronnie Terrell; Wanda and her husband Aubry Hemingway; Gary and his wife Tammy Liberty; and Donna Liberty. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into creating a home filled with love, stability, and warmth.
Jane was gifted with remarkable artistic talent. She excelled in ceramics, painting, sewing, crochet, and many other crafts, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her patience, creativity, and generous spirit. Her handmade work continues to be treasured by those fortunate enough to receive it.
She shared a special bond with her niece Juliet and her nephew Elliot, along with his wife Sheila, who visited her often and brought her comfort and joy throughout the years. Chance always made sure she had her dessert, and she cherished the hugs she received from Chase and Cash. Even when she could not always recall their names, she beamed with happiness at the attention they gave her.
Jane was blessed with grandchildren Ralph, Tracy, Aubrey, Gary, and Lisa, as well as numerous great grandchildren who brought her immense pride and happiness.
Jane will be remembered for her gentle nature, her devotion to family, and the many talents she shared so freely. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
