Margaret Hall Parsons

Margaret Hall Parsons, age 81, of Jacksonville, FL. passed away on April 24th, 2020. She was born in Sparta, TN. on May 12th, 1938. The Smokey’s always in her heart, she frequently traveled there to visit family and to enjoy all the beauty and wildlife that the region had to offer. Margaret was married to her husband of 60 years, John William Parsons on January 1st, 1960. Margaret lived a full life as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and working on puzzles. Most of all she loved Jesus and instilled in her family strong Christian values that will continue to serve them well.

She is proceeded in death by her father Eddie, mother Nancy, sisters Florence, Artie, Elizebeth, Dorothy, Vina, Pearl, Dovie, and Betty, and brothers Lonnie, Johnny, Melton, and Melvin. Margaret is survived by her sisters Cora and Gladys, husband John, daughter Roberta, and granddaughter Melissa. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home is serving the family. A private family visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. 32205 from 10am - 12pm. A private graveside celebration of life services will be held at 12pm.
