Margaret M. Pickett, 87, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 in Orange Park, FL. She was born February 22, 1931 to Richard and Annie Thompson and was one of 14 children. Margaret was a hair dresser and she loved taking long walks to enjoy the scenery. She was religious in nature of which she enjoyed reading her bible, singing in the choir and playing the organ. Her favorite passion was working in the garden. She is preceded in death by her daughter Sandra McNeal. Margaret is survived by her children Gary (Kathy) Pickett, Debbie Gill, Terry Pickett, 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one son-in-law David McNeal as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 12pm-1pm. Funeral services to begin at 1pm with interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
