

Her career, spanning 25 years, was spent as an administrator with the Naval Ordinance Lab in Corona, California. She was a devoted Christian, and was an
active member of her church throughout her entire lifetime. At Neptune Baptist Church, she enjoyed singing in the choir, and teaching her Sunday school class. She served as president of NARFE for several years. Marguerite's generosity and sincerity were among the many wonderful traits that defined her being. She was passionate about giving to specific charities that helped fulfill the Lord's purpose on Earth. She was a beautiful light in the world, and a model of honesty and integrity. Her family was blessed by her kind and loving demeanor.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sherry and son in law David; her three grandsons, Tim and wife Diane, Gary and wife Connie, Michael and his wife Mirela. She has four step-great grandchildren, Sabrina, Lauren, Riley, and Zoey.
The funeral service will be held on June 10,2014 at 11 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. Pastor Tom Bary will be conducting the memorial service.
