She was born on June 28,1935, the daughter of Liborio Santos and Alejandrina Vargas.
Maria was a devoted mother, grandma, great grandma and great great grandma. Was a member of the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, but before that she was a member of Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria Catholic Church in Puerto Rico, were she serve as a Eucharist minister and also a member of the Juan XXIII group. She was always dedicating her time to the sick and needy brothers and sisters of her community.
She is survived by two sisters: Flora Santos and Yolanda Santos, sons: Norberto Soto and Luis Soto, daughters: Maria Soto and Nancy Rivera, many nieces, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and her fur friend Sunny.
