Patricia "Marie" Copeland, age 77, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on February 25, 2023. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 29, 1945 to James Lee Whiddon and Blanch E. Whiddon. She married William J. Copeland, Jr. on January 27, 1984.
Marie drove a school bus for Duval County Schools for over 30 years. She loved spend time with her family. She was a member of, and attended services, at Paxon Revival Center Church for over 50 years, was a Sunday school teacher for 10 years, also volunteering in the nursery. She loved her church and church family. Shopping and buying things for her kids and grandkids gave her great joy.
She is survived by loving husband of 39 years, William J. Copeland, Jr.; daughters, Selena Schudlich (Scott) and Shana Lawrence; son, Henry Lawrence (Candi); grandsons, Caleb Schudlich (Sydnee), Jacob Sanders, Seth Ibana, Luke Ibana, and Dylan Ibana; granddaughters, Gabrielle Schudlich, Nalah Lawrence, Haylee Lawrence and Lily Ibana; and also 2 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death are her parents Blanch E. Whiddon and James Lee Whiddon.
