Marie Louise Lagrange

Marie Lagrange, age 67, passed away on August 3, 2023. She was born In Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 28, 1955 to Roy Jones and Elizabeth Gumbrecht. She graduated from Paxon Senior High School and attended college for a time. She married Omie C. Lagrange and worked in the Public Works Department in Jacksonville.

Marie loved to go fishing, watch football, singing and reading the Bible and attended Jones Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Omie C. Lagrange; daughter, Tiffany Marie Perez; son-in-law, Marcel Perez Miranda; brothers, Burley Jones, and Aubrey Jones and wife June; and sisters, Debbie Jones and Linda Wilson and husband Darryl. Her grandchildren, Kaleb D. Head, Yinaira Perez Rodriguez, Jada E. Wade and Yael Perez Rodriguez, and her great grandchild Madilynn Rose Head.

Preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Roy Jones; and brother, Roy Jones, Jr.

A visitation for Marie will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 10am to 12pm at Jones Road Baptist Church, 2506 Jones Road, Jacksonville, FL 32220.

A funeral service will occur on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 12pm at Jones Road Baptist Church, 2506 Jones Road, Jacksonville, FL 32220. A committal service will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
