Marie was very active in the Armenian and Greek churches and Senior Center with her volunteer works. She loved to sing in the choir, bake for the church, knit for children and sewed blankets for the military.
She survived by her son Istephan and his wife Jeanine Roubian; daughter Siroun and husband William Braun; grandchildren Stephanie and Levon Roubian, Nora Yegoryan-Braun; grandnephew Khachig Braun, nieces Lucy, Salpi, Sosi, Lena, Gracia, Carmen and Guilda; nephews Jack, Sako, Garo ,Johnny and Andre and their spouses and children, sister in-law Dsaghgan Veledian
