Marilyn Moody, age 79, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on April 6, 2025. She was born in Jacksonville on May 26, 1945 to Jim Tennison and Mytice Gardener. She married Thomas W. Moody on April 8, 1963.
Marilyn was a Mom and wife who enjoyed camping, Bingo, the BTS Boys. She loved her children and family and her dog.
She is survived by son, James Moody; daughter, Cheryl Moody; daughter, Tammy Conway; son, Aaron Mood; son, Vance Moody; daughter, Gail Moody; sister, Janey Denmark; and sister, Carolyn Leeman.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Moody; parents, Jim Tennison and Mytice Gardener Tennison; and brothers and sisters.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal will occur Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Hardage- Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
