It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Marilyn Rose Rawlins, age 71, passed away on Sunday Morning, June 15, 2014. She was born to the late Ezekiel and Mildred Collins. She is pre-deceased by one sister-Glennie Patton. She is survived by a loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Richard Rawlins, two children Richard Rawlins Jr (Cayla) and Lori Gates (Keith), 9 grandchildren: Knikki, Elizabeth, Patrick, Tori, Autumn, Sierra, Cory, DJ and Katlin, 6 great grandchildren, 1 sister Betty York (Don), and 1 brother in law, Jim Patton. In addition, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and loving friends. Marilyn was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness for 42 years, and remained a faithful Witness until her death. We would like to thank everyone for all your support during this difficult time. Funeral services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 21st 2014.
