Marion Byer

Marion Cash Byer, 82, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Sunday night January 16, 2011. Born in Warren, PA she was a former resident of Buffalo, NY and Tampa, FL and moved to the Jacksonville area in 2000 to be near her family.

She was a loving mother and grandmother whose joy was to be surrounded by her loved ones where she could be involved and participate in their daily activities. During her professional career, she was an office manager of a data processing facility and a director of a child day care center. She dearly loved her Faith and was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Jacksonville, FL.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents John and Kathryn Cash and siblings Joseph, David and Anna.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory sons William (Wyndy) Byer of Spring Hill, FL, Robert (Nijole) Byer of Ft. Myers, FL, and Richard (Linda) Byer of Jacksonville, FL her devoted 11 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren, one sister Francis Van Volkinburg of Warren, PA and one brother John Cash Jr. of Orchard Park, NY.

Visitation and viewing will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11665 Ft. Caroline Road, Jacksonville, FL 32225.

Funeral Mass will also be held at the church on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 11am.

Burial services will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Warren, PA.
