Mrs. Marjorie Alma Earle Johnson passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015. She was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and had resided in Jacksonville, FL for 56 years. She was a Christian woman and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Mandarin and retired from the Florida Baptist Convention. Marjorie loved to garden and was a member of the Riverside Garden Club. She loved to travel. Marjorie was the beloved wife of John T. Johnson for 35 years. She is preceded in death by 5 brothers, Bruce Earle, Russell Earle, Vern Earle, Milton Earle and Stan Earle. Marjorie is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews who were her children. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the funeral home at 10:00am with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
