She was a dedicated homemaker; she cherished her role as a mother and friend. Her home was a place of warmth, wisdom, humor, and love. She was a beautiful soul with a gentle voice, living resiliently through faith and sustained by her love for God and family. Born Martha Ruth Davis , she was preceded in death by her spouse Jimmy Lee Rogers, daughters, Gloria Jean Rogers, Kathy Ann Rogers, and Siblings: Mary Pouncey, Ella Mae Farrow, and Luzzie Ruth Mann.
She is survived by her children Robin Yvette Rogers, Timothy and Beverly Robinson (Spouse), Mae Ola Newsome and Samantha Jackson Oates. She leaves a legacy of love through her cherished grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Those who knew her will remember her for her humility, ethics, kindness, strength, humor, and generosity. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she nurtured.
A Graveside Service will be held at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205, Friday, March 20, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
