Martha M. Hall, 85, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2018, surrounded by loved ones at home. She was born in Levy County, Florida to parents, James and Bertie Curry, and was the oldest of seven children, all of whom have preceded her in death. Martha was a high school graduate who married her true love, Clarence Hall, in January of 1972 who passed before her. She is survived by a son, Douglas Herring, or Fort White, Florida; two daughters, Deborah Crawford of Waverly, Georgia and Marschelle Hall of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren, Stacy and husband Dwayne Cleveland of Chula, Georgia and Tyler Hall of Jacksonville, Florida; and two great grandchildren, Amber and Michael Cleveland of Chula, Georgia. The last two years a strong friendship was formed with Ann Plows and her children, BreAnna and Joseph Plows of Waverly, Georgia.
Martha worked hard to raise her family and to be the best person, mother and granny she could be. She worked in all phases of the restaurant industry and her final position was in management for ten plus years before retiring. Her hobbies were sewing, raising birds, gardening and cooking. Spending time with family and friends was important to her. She lived a long life facing many challenges that she came out on top of. She loved helping friends and doing all she could for whomever had needs. She was loved and will be missed by all that knew her.
