Marvin W. Rogers, departed life on Monday, December 10, 2012. Son of the late Charles E. and Ozzie B. Rogers. He leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Susan J. Rogers and sons, Marvin Jr., Aaron and Jayson Rogers; Siblings, Michelle (Jimmy) Brown, Roxanne Rogers, Michael (Joy), Scott (Jennifer), Kyle (Rachelle) Rogers; numerous family members, and friends. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. 32205. Homegoing Celebration will be on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:00 am, in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home. The Roger’s family will have a Celebration of Marvin’s life following his Funeral Service at the Funeral Home. Committal Service Burial will be held at 2:30pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, 32218. In lieu in flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association.
