

Mary M. Caselnova Freeman, 92 of Gainesville, Florida left us on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Caselnova and Vito “Ed” Casalenovo, her husband, Stafford “Chuck” Caldwell Freeman, daughter, Jacquelyn Carter, and son-in-laws, Wayne Carter and Michael McCloud. She is survived by her brother, Dominick (Hazel) Caselnova, sisters, Rose (Marty) Mulligan and Helen Caselnova, sister-in-law, Sandra Caselnova, daughters, Nancy McCloud and Laurie (Rick) Ferreira, sons, Stafford C. Freeman Jr. and Joseph Freeman, along with nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mary will be remembered as a faithful servant of our Lord who had a beautiful smile and kind words for everyone she met.
A native of Brooklyn, NY, Mary married Stafford on January 13th, 1946. Not long thereafter the couple relocated to Jacksonville, Florida where Mary thrived as a devoted wife and mother for many years.
Mary touched many lives and will be remembered for kindness to all.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 27th, 2017 at 9:15am with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 5752 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida (904) 771-5800. Interment will follow at 12:30pm Saturday, May 27th, 2017 at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL.
