Mary Evelyn Whitehead, age 85, passed away on September 22, 2016. Mary was born on November 25, 1930 in Dothan, Alabama to James Sanford and Berie Jones Hall. Mary is survived by her daughters, Sandra Merritt, RN and Vicki Hall (spouse, Jason); one son, Michael Whitehead; loving and faithful companion of approximately 30 years, Troy Crook;her grandchildren John Pearl, Rhonda Pearl, Jason Hall, and Hayley Armstrong; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother-in-law, Thomas Whitehead, of Dothan, Alabama. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at two o' clock in the afternoon at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard. Pastor Alan McCurdy will serve as officiant.
