He was an electrician for Memorial Hospital for over 20 years, and was "Santa" for the employees and children for many years. He loved and was married to Norma "Tigger" for 53 years.

Morris loved his Florida Gators, Hot Wheels, collectables and making everyone laugh. He was a member of the American Legion, 1st Coast Hot Wheels, and Jax Gator Club. He was loved and will be deeply missed by family and many friends.

Morris is survived by his wife, Norma and sister, Gloria and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Margaret Poole and his loving son, Greg.

We met Morris and Norma in 1984 and became the best of friends for many, many years, going to gator games- home and away, weekends at the landing, Sundays at the jetties, vacations in the keys and many other things. Morris loved life, knew how to live it and enjoyed every minute of it. We will miss him terribly and wish the very best for Tigger. Rest In Peace Morris.

We met Morris and Norma in 1984 and became the very best of friends for many years and did a lot of things together including football games, gator road trips, the landing, the beach,

vacations to the keys and many other things. If you wanted to go and do, Morris was your man. He loved life and he especially loved living it and was very good at it.

I could never foreseen when I met Morris and Tigger many many years ago when they had seats behind me at the Swamp how much they would add to my life. Always hospitable, they welcomed me and my friends from Crystal River with open arms. Our group of tailgators, became like family, and Morris and Tigger were the center of the group. They welcomed us up to Jacksonville each year for the Florida-Georgia game and we all had a great time win or lose, mostly winning. Morris, you will be sorely missed by all of us down here in Crystal River. Tigger, be strong and we send you all our love.

My dad and Morris have been close friends since before I was even born. They worked together at Memorial Hospital for MANY years. Morris was my God Father and I have so many wonderful memories of him throughout my whole life. Him and Norma got me the Holiday Barbie for Christmas every year and I always loved getting it to add to my huge collection of barbies. I’ll never forget his love for the Florida Gators and the Gator room they had in their house. I love him very much and will miss him dearly.

It was a great honor to work with Morris. He was a genuine soul with a heart of gold, always making me laugh! I'll never forget his classic Santa role at the hospital, making sure all the children got the best experience! He will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to all his family and friends. Rest easy, friend.
