Nina C. King

Nina C. King, 83, of Jacksonville, FL, died peacefully Saturday, March 31, 2012 in her home. She was born on March 8, 1929 in Columbus, GA. Nina was a resident of Jacksonville, FL for over 23 years coming from Salt Springs, FL. She was a member of Woodstock Baptist Church, Past President of the Jacksonville Orchid Society, member of the Garden Club of Jacksonville, FL., volunteer for the Navy-Marine Relief Society, and was active in many more Clubs and Societies that meant so much to her. Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. King and son, William E. King. She is survived by her sons, Robert V. King (Janet), and David K. King; daughter, Linda S. Schultz (Dennis); brother, Edwin P. Hendricks; sister, Sarah Moye; her loving 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL., 32205. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11:00am, Woodstock Baptist Church, 9120 Crystal Springs Rd., Jacksonville, FL., 32221. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL. Contributions can be made to Northeast Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257 in memory of Nina C. King.
