i'm so sorry to hear about her passing. my prayers go out to everyone that was touched by her. my family will miss our other mother. please know that she will be remembered always.

Being at work hasn't felt quite the same since Ms. McKendree passed away.  I miss her smiling face and spending time with her, listening to her stories and taking her for walks. She was a great person and a great friend. She will be missed for a very long time.

My Grandma,


There is always a special place in your heart for your grandma, but for mine half of my heart was and still is hers.  I knew this day would come, but I never wanted to believe it.  It is hard knowing she's not around the corner or just a phone call away anymore, but I now know who my guardian angel is.  I cried before because I knew how much pain she was in.  I cry now because I know she's happy and is where she wants to be, which is walking along side of Jesus.  

One treasure that I cherish that Grandma left behind is my Mom.  Every time I look at her I see my Grandma again.  When you lose someone so special to you, it makes you hold on tighter to the ones you love, because one day God's going to need them back.  Knowing that my brother couldn't be here today makes it ten times harder, because she was so special to him.  But now that my Grandma's herself again, I know she is so proud of him.  

So many memories of my Grandma will forever live in my heart, I miss her so much already but one thing that gives me hope is I know I will see her again someday.  Until the day we meet again, I'll live on hoping I can be half the woman she was.  I love you Grandma.  Rest in paradise!

Our beloved Irish Setter, Precious Molly, was purchased from Norma after the loss of our first Setter, Velvet, many years ago.  Norma was so good to us and we visited her facility several times.  We no longer live in Jax but stayed in touch and when Precious became ill, we talked to Norma about her.  She was a wonderful breeder and loved animals so much.  We are very blessed to have known her and to have received one of her beautiful creatures, the granddaughter of McKendree's Bold Venture.  She will be missed by many of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and pets at this time.

Mrs. McKendree was a very sweet lady. It was always a pleasure talking to her. Her actions demonstrated her love for family and animals. God bless all of you during your time of sorrow.

Norma was my Irish Setter mentor. I had my first litter of puppies because Norma took a chance on an unknown person. I will never forget her. May the shamorks fall softly

I used to board Kady at Norma's kennel when they lived on the Northside. She was a loving and kind person and I think her heart was as big as all outdoors. I appreciated her kind spirit and that she took such good care of my dog. My condolences to the family.
