Norman Odell Allen, age 81, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. Norman was born on August 3, 1942 to Francis Allen and Margaret Cole Allen. He was married to Joyce Hipps Allen. Norman worked as a auto mechanic and also for EMS in Duval County. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and ballroom dancing.
Norman is survived by his children Pamela Reeves, Jackie Simpson (Tony), Patti Taylor, Connie Arrington, John Allen (Sandi), and Cindy Boyd. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Allen.
A visitation for Norman will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Pastor Richard Carney will serve as officiant of services.
