Norman Wesley Coleman, 82, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2016. Mr. Coleman was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Charles T. and Etta Pearl Coleman on February 4, 1934. He is predeceased by his wife Phyllis Coleman and daughter, Linda M. Carr. He retired from Atlantic Marine as a marine welder. Mr. Coleman enjoyed hunting, fishing and had a great love for the outdoors. He is survived by his stepson Raymond Smith (Helen), granddaughters Dianna Rhea, Alicia May (Jay), Tracy Brooks and grandson Brian Smith. Mr. Coleman is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Lindsey May Kinard (Kyle), Blaine Rhea, Zackary Brooks, Sydney Brooks, Courtney May, Emily May and Aubrey Wright. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road, Jacksonville, FL. 32225.
