He was born in Chambersburg, PA, and graduated from Chambersburg High School. While in Pennsylvania he enjoyed various jobs selling real estate, landscaping, and traveling the country painting billboards. After moving to Florida he rekindled his interest in landscaping and formed Landscape Florida, Inc., from which he retired.
He is predeceased by his sister, Paula Homer. He is survived by his wife Melanie Homer, son Bradley Homer, and granddaughter Bridget Homer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Avondale Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5135 College St., Jacksonville, FL.
