Ocilia C. Cuartero “Tillie”, 95, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 30, 1917 to George and Julia Cuartero in Tampa, FL. Ocilia owned her own business sewing draperies. Tillie was very proud of her work. She also loved sewing, pottery, ceramics and her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Ocilia is predeceased by her parents, nine brothers and sisters as well as one grandchild, Julio Tice IV. She is survived by three sons, Julio Tice (Barbara), Daniel Tice (Josie) and Steve Tice (Susan) as well as five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Visitation services for friends and family will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 pm. in the chapel.
